# Edison Park Youth Sports

> Edison Park Youth (EPY) was started in 1967, by John Barrett. It was started as a house league sports program to provide children with fun and safe activities in the neighborhood. The program is run exclusively through the Chicago Park District, in which we have a great partnership with.
